6 & 7 Months....YIKES!

Oops! It sure has been a while since my last post. The last few months have been caarazzy!! With soccer and all being done, I can finally relax and now have time to update this.

September:

Kason turned 6 months on the 28th, it is so crazy how fast he is growing up! I really think he gets cuter every single day. I sometimes just can't take how cute he is and that he is actually ours haha. We are SO grateful to have him in our lives.

He was sooo good for me at soccer, he came to everything. Practices, bus rides, away games, home games, team dinners, etc. He loved it! And all the girls just loved him and cared for him every single day. I honestly don't know what I would of done if I couldn't have brought him, just a blessing.

Speaking of soccer, what a GREAT year it was. We were ranked Top 5 in the State for 5 weeks in a row, inlcude 3 of those weeks ranked 3rd in the State. We finished 2nd in Region and lost a heart breaker in the State Quaterfinalists. It was such a fun and great year, really sad to see it finish. But looking forward to next season and making it to the championship game! Here is a link to our team website if you are interested to read about the rest of the season: CHS GIRLS SOCCER.

October:

Kason and I flew home to Washington the beginning of October. My HS team was inducted into the Hall of Fame at my High School, so we flew down for the ceremony. I got to do the speech, which was a little nerve racking, but really cool experience as well. It was so fun seeing all my friends and of course my parents! Kason LOVES them! And of course, they fell into the Kason "spell" as well. I wish so bad they lived closer, it is always so fun to be with them. Miss them tons. They are coming out for a couple weeks for Christmas, so that'll be a fun partyyy :)

Kason turned 7 months at the end of October, and he has started to crawl! It is still pretty slow and he only does it when he wants, but it sure is fun to watch!

How he would act when he didn't want the food...little stinker!

LOVE that butt!!

We had a blast on Halloween and dressing him up! Holidays are just so much more fun with a babe :)

Other SUPER exciting news, Tage got another promotion at work!! SO EXCITING! I am seriously so proud of that guy. He works his butt off, and its totally paying off. He is loving his job and doing so well.

We got out very 1st Family pictures done from our friend. She did amazing! We love them! I just love our lil' family :) here are a few:

That is about all the exciting things that have happened over the past few months. We CAN NOT wait for the holidays! We are going to Tage's cabin for Thanksgiving which will be a blast. And then the whole entire Hansen Clan is coming down for Christmas. It will be a blast.

I have been crafting a ton! I am trying to find the gene my Mom has, and I think it is slowly starting to blossum ha. I LOVE christmas and I am making Tage do lights on the outside of our house. I want to be the Griswolds, but I don't think I can push him that far. We shall see...

Summer is over :( / 5 Months

Well my summer is officially over :( and boy is it depressing. I never thought I would be like this, but it has been SO HARD for me to leave Kason for work. I know I get to pick him up earlier than most people who work do, but still, it is so hard for me. I cried everyday doing it this week. I don't know what I have turned in to haha. Hopefully it will get easier, but right now it is hard! So if anybody has advice, send it my way.

I mean how could you leave this face?!

My soccer season has started, which has actually be WAY fun! We are currently 5-1. Off to a good start. Kason is our little mascot, and the girls just LOVE him. They are always fighting with each other on who gets to hold him, I love it. I seriously have the best group of girls, they are just the sweetest and nicest group and fun to be around. Their goal is Region Champs and make to at least the Semi's of state. So far so good!
 Our lil' Mascot!

This is how practices go :)

Tage is still loving his job at Fidelity, he is doing so well there too! He is working on climbing his way up and is working so hard. He is the best Daddy to Kason too, they are like spitting images of each other. I love it.

Kason has turned 5 months! I just can't believe it. He is growing up so stinkin' fast, it makes me sad. But I just love this stage he is in now, he is sooo fun! Here is a little bit about him at this month:

I am heading back to Washington in October because my High School Soccer Team is getting inducted into my HS Hall of Fame. So that should be really fun! Other than that, we are just trucking a long and loving on our little family! :)

Vacation / 4 Months

So we had a pretty busy and awesome past month! We had such a fun 4th of July. We went to a parade, lunch, and took Kason to his first movie, Monsters U :) Kason is always soo good for us in public places, I think he just gets bored at home, he loves looking at people and things.

He was so good in the movie for us and loved the parade

For our big Vacation this year, we flew back to Washington for a week. It was sooo much fun! One of the best trips. Tage had never been back to see my hometown, so it was really fun taking him around and doing all the "touristy" things. We went crabbing (which was Tage's favorite), went to Seattle, road the Ferry to Friday Harbor in the San Juan Islands, visited Deception Pass, ate Ice Cream from the best place ever (3 times), and just hung out with my parents. It was so much fun. My parents had a ton of fun having 1 on 1 time with Kason. He was so good the entire flight and trip. He makes for a great traveling buddy :) I got to go to dinner with my High School friends. It was so good seeing them all again, I miss them tons. Wish we could see each other more often. They loved meeting Kason for the 1st time too. Of course we had to go to the Outlets, we have the best Outlets ever! I probably spent a whole months pay check, jk, but seriously. I just get so excited buying clothes for Kason, I can't help it, it is definitely becoming an obsession. Overall we had SO much fun and were a bit depressed to come back. Can't wait to go back again!

This was him the entire flight both ways :)

 Tage's favorite part, crabbing!

Kason has just turned 4 months! I can not believe how fast it has gone by! Makes me so sad. We are just soo in love with our lil' buddy! He is the BEST! He is always smiling and giggling and making our days just so much better. He is growing and learning something new like every day. We love watching him grow, he just needs to slow down a little bit ha. He rolls over non-stop. When he's in our arms, he'll try and wiggle out to roll over. He loves it. It is causing some problems at night tho. He rolls all the way to the sides in his crib and will sometimes get his arms stuck in the sides and can't get out. So it wakes him. So hopefully he'll get strong enough that he can get out himself soon.

Here are some pictures of Kason over the last month.

This is how changing him always goes.

Like Father like son :)

Loves swimming!

Always find him like this, don't know how he sleeps like that!
