Summer is over :( / 5 Months

Well my summer is officially over :( and boy is it depressing. I never thought I would be like this, but it has been SO HARD for me to leave Kason for work. I know I get to pick him up earlier than most people who work do, but still, it is so hard for me. I cried everyday doing it this week. I don't know what I have turned in to haha. Hopefully it will get easier, but right now it is hard! So if anybody has advice, send it my way.

I mean how could you leave this face?!

My soccer season has started, which has actually be WAY fun! We are currently 5-1. Off to a good start. Kason is our little mascot, and the girls just LOVE him. They are always fighting with each other on who gets to hold him, I love it. I seriously have the best group of girls, they are just the sweetest and nicest group and fun to be around. Their goal is Region Champs and make to at least the Semi's of state. So far so good!
 Our lil' Mascot!

This is how practices go :)

Tage is still loving his job at Fidelity, he is doing so well there too! He is working on climbing his way up and is working so hard. He is the best Daddy to Kason too, they are like spitting images of each other. I love it.

Kason has turned 5 months! I just can't believe it. He is growing up so stinkin' fast, it makes me sad. But I just love this stage he is in now, he is sooo fun! Here is a little bit about him at this month:

I am heading back to Washington in October because my High School Soccer Team is getting inducted into my HS Hall of Fame. So that should be really fun! Other than that, we are just trucking a long and loving on our little family! :)

Vacation / 4 Months

So we had a pretty busy and awesome past month! We had such a fun 4th of July. We went to a parade, lunch, and took Kason to his first movie, Monsters U :) Kason is always soo good for us in public places, I think he just gets bored at home, he loves looking at people and things.

He was so good in the movie for us and loved the parade

For our big Vacation this year, we flew back to Washington for a week. It was sooo much fun! One of the best trips. Tage had never been back to see my hometown, so it was really fun taking him around and doing all the "touristy" things. We went crabbing (which was Tage's favorite), went to Seattle, road the Ferry to Friday Harbor in the San Juan Islands, visited Deception Pass, ate Ice Cream from the best place ever (3 times), and just hung out with my parents. It was so much fun. My parents had a ton of fun having 1 on 1 time with Kason. He was so good the entire flight and trip. He makes for a great traveling buddy :) I got to go to dinner with my High School friends. It was so good seeing them all again, I miss them tons. Wish we could see each other more often. They loved meeting Kason for the 1st time too. Of course we had to go to the Outlets, we have the best Outlets ever! I probably spent a whole months pay check, jk, but seriously. I just get so excited buying clothes for Kason, I can't help it, it is definitely becoming an obsession. Overall we had SO much fun and were a bit depressed to come back. Can't wait to go back again!

This was him the entire flight both ways :)

 Tage's favorite part, crabbing!

Kason has just turned 4 months! I can not believe how fast it has gone by! Makes me so sad. We are just soo in love with our lil' buddy! He is the BEST! He is always smiling and giggling and making our days just so much better. He is growing and learning something new like every day. We love watching him grow, he just needs to slow down a little bit ha. He rolls over non-stop. When he's in our arms, he'll try and wiggle out to roll over. He loves it. It is causing some problems at night tho. He rolls all the way to the sides in his crib and will sometimes get his arms stuck in the sides and can't get out. So it wakes him. So hopefully he'll get strong enough that he can get out himself soon.

Here are some pictures of Kason over the last month.

This is how changing him always goes.

Like Father like son :)

Loves swimming!

Time is flying by!

My baby boy is already 3 Months old! WOW! I can not believe how fast the time flies. He is just getting bigger and bigger, but oh sooo fun! He smiles all the time now, and is just barely starting to giggle. It is so cute! He weighs about 13.8 pounds now. He is starting to get chunky too! When I look back at his newborn pictures and see how small he used to be I just don't believe it. It is so crazy how fast they change.

My parents were in town for at week and were here for his blessing day. It was so fun having them here. We went to Lagoon a couple times, we took Kason to the water park in Lagoon and went around the river with him, he has fun in the water. His blessing day was perfect! We had it here at our house, and then had a big lunch for everyone over at the park so all the kids could play on the playgrounds, it was a really fun day!

This last weekend Heidi, my sister, and I ran a 5k for our friends brother called, "We Got This 5k". It was really fun! I am starting to workout again and eat healthier to shed these pounds! Tage is doing it too. So we can now motivate each other :)

I am really enjoying my summer off! That is the best part about being a teacher haha. It is going to be HORRIBLE going back :( I can't even think about it or I'll start crying. But gotta do what ya gotta do. I had my Team Camp for soccer this last week. Kason came with and was soo good! All the girls were so awesome with him. I had some awesome parents that helped watch him too. So hopefully he'll stay good for me this fall. I am really counting on that so I can bring him with me.

We are heading back to Washington this next week. I haven't been there for 2 years, and Tage has never seen my home town. So we are both really excited! We are flying so I am a little nervous to see how Kason does, we'll cross our fingers he is good :)

Here are some pictures of him from this last month (month 2):

At his 2 Month check-up, he had a his 4th blow out for the day and I had no extra clothes (cause I already used them) and no diaper (oops on my part). So I had to take him home naked and borrow a diaper. I am sure there was some serious judging from the nurses there. haha.

Love waking up to this face. He is so good when he wakes up, just smiles and sits in his crib!

First day we took him to church after he turned 2 Months

Loves his cuddles with Grandma Joyce, and she sure loves him!

One of my favorite pictures

Time to put some bumper pads on for him

Goes from 0 to 10 in less than 3 seconds when he's hungry (just like his momma)
